About Lone Boy

Lone Boy is the home for creator-owned works by artist John Picacio. The company’s first two offerings were the 2013 John Picacio Calendar and the 2014 John Picacio Calendar, with accompanying sketchbooks. A set of eleven Loteria Grande cards are currently available for sale, and the Loteria art series continues to build into 2015.

ABOUT JOHN PICACIO

JOHN PICACIO is a two-time Hugo and World Fantasy Award-winning illustrator of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. His works have illustrated the covers of books by Michael Moorcock, Harlan Ellison, Robert Silverberg, L.E. Modesitt, Jr., Dan Simmons, Joe R. Lansdale, Jeffrey Ford, Frederik Pohl, James Tiptree, Jr., Mark Chadbourn, and many more. He has created iconic covers and interior illustrations for Michael Moorcock’s legendary fantasy icon Elric of Melniboné as well as the 2012 calendar for George R. R. Martin’s A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE. His accolades include the Locus Award, seven Chesley Awards, and two International Horror Guild Awards, all in the Artist category.
